I remember there being some talk by some members and Ron about doing a Best of dvd poll on this site. Any chance this may happen now that the end of 2001 is near?

Well not sure if this is what you're thinking of, but a friend and I are doing a census of the top DVD releases of all-time based on the public vote of the online community. It's going on through December 15, and we've gotten several hundreds of votes already.

From the results so far, there are about 5 DVD releases from this year that look like they'll be making the top 15.

I checked out the thread and responded but I don't see "hundreds" of responses. Also, I was really thinking that the membership of this forum would vote on the best dvd's of this year and then would be posted in a special area or something. Ron said he was thinking about doing this awhile back.
