I am replacing every DVD with its Blu ray equivalent as I see them for a good price. I used to sell the DVDs, but now find there is no market.
There is usually plenty of room in the Blu ray case, so I put the disc in a DVD envelope and store it in the Blu ray case. (I guess I am prepared for a disaster where I have my collection, but only a DVD player! — or for the hordes of grand children with my taste in movies who only have DVD players!).
I found a computer store that sells boxes of double DVD cases for a modest price, and I am storing all my home made DVDs of classic movies from TCM (usually 2 movies/disc — 4 flicks in each case) in these and making cover inserts using period posters from the internet.
