Good news. Now if we could just get Emergency on Blu Ray my old Universal Check list of these shows on Blu Ray will be complete:
Emergency
The Incredible Hulk
The A Team
Knight Rider
I have them all. And not going to do an upgrade on them.
Fine with what I have.

I'm rather surprised Transformers isn't out on blu ray. If it didn't happen in the Michael Bay era I guess it will never happen.

Not sure about the odds on getting old sitcoms on blu ray, but I'm guessing they're not good.

I have all five seasons of The A-Team on single-sided DVD's from Universal.

The most likely way that I would ever buy Universal's upcoming Blu-Ray release of
The A-Team: The Complete Series
is if no scenes that had originally featured "Howling Mad" Murdock singing
and also no original dialogue gets removed from any of the episodes on the Blu-Ray box set.

Very sadly, The A-Team is just one of a large amount of classic American TV Series'
from the 20th Century that has had numerous episodes presented in butchered or shortened form
via a Region 1 DVD release.

I wish that none of the classic American TV Series' from the 20th Century
that have actually been fortunate enough to get issued on DVD here in North America
had any episodes butchered, censored or edited in any way on DVD or Blu-Ray.

Uncut and unedited episodes of classic American TV Series' from the 20th Century
are far, far, far superior than the chopped up, butchered or shortened versions of episodes
of those particular TV Series'.

I'm so very disappointed at how Universal has presented the fabulous, iconic and unique
1983-1987 NBC television series The A-Team on DVD.

Here are the inexcusable edits from the Universal DVD releases of The A-Team.

SEASON 1:
Episode: Mexican Slayride
- The Rolling Stones' song "Jumping Jack Flash" was replaced with new music
and the footage of "Howling Mad" Murdock singing along to "Jumping Jack Flash" had been cut.
Columbia House VHS had this scene left fully intact.

Episode: A Small and Deadly War
- A scene with "Howling Mad" Murdock singing the Rolling Stones' song "Satisfaction" had been cut.
Columbia House VHS had this scene left fully intact.

SEASON 2:
Episode: When You Comin' Back, Range Rider?
- Part of Hannibal's dialogue had been lost supposedly due to damage to the master tape.
The uncut version of the scene was left fully intact on Hulu, Netflix and also on NBC's official website.

SEASON 3:
Episode: Cup A' Joe
- The Jimmy Buffett song "Cheeseburger in Paradise" had been removed.

Episode: Beverly Hills Assault
- The Glenn Frey song "The Heat Is On"
and The Kinks' song "Dedicated Follower of Fashion" had both been replaced with new music.

"Cheesebuger in Paradise", "The Heat Is On" and "Dedicated Follower of Fashion"
were all left fully intact in those episodes on foreign language DVD releases.

SEASON 4:
Teasers are missing from several episodes.
The missing teasers were found on Netflix, Hulu and Amazon
(except for "The Heart of Rock and Roll" episode").

Very interesting (and disappointing). Which foreign language DVD release do you recommend to get those original songs?
