Best sounding-B&W 800 sig, Revel studios (I have never heard Wilsons)
Worst sounding-Bose and the cheep KLH speakers at BB

Best Value (Under $2000)-B&W CDM7NT
Under $1000-Vandersteen Model 1, B&W 602

Most beautiful-B&W 804 cherry
Ugliest-Bose accoutimass cubes, Cerwin Vegas that still are about 2 feet wide, and 6" deep (1970s style)

- Axiom bookshelf speakers at factory outlet prices, Divas on sale, and Paradigms in Canada
- anything made by Bose is the worse bang for the buck anywhere

- Sonus Faber (I think Amati's)
- Some bloated Cerwin Vegas I recently saw at Fryes with massive woofs

haha....the only answer me and eric differ on is the most beautiful speaker........he mentions axioms as a good deal and michauras are made by axiom....also he and rodney mention the cerwin vega being ugliest and it looks almost identical to the KLH i mentioned

Ugliest Speaker: B&W Nautilus 801 (When John Williams first saw them at Abbey Road Studios, he said they looked like R2D2!)

Hey Jason, I'm honestly not copying you! I having been lusting after the 1.3 SE's for a long time now. And I didn't know the Vegas looked like the KLH's, though I can well imagine they do. All cheapo bloated towers tend to look similar.

Worst sound - Sony speakers

Most beautiful - nOrh marble 9.0's
Ugliest - Def Tech BP3000TL

Highest value - VMPS 626R (for 2 channel) or nOrh mini-9.0 (for HT)
Worst value - can there be any question on this one? Bose of course.

I think the best looking speaker is the Klipsch Belle in oak with cane grilles.
