Sub Frequency Question on Yamaha RX-V530 (1 Viewer)

I have a question about my receiver. I know the Yamaha sends all frequencies below 90Hz to the sub if I set my speakers to small. It also allows me to set my mains to large and subwoofer to "both" though. My question is, what frequencies go to the sub if my mains are set to large and the sub is set to both? Is it still anything 90Hz and under? Thanks, Lowell
