Stand By Me, Special Edition. Mono only? (1 Viewer)

Popped this one in tonight and was surprised to see (well, hear) there's only an english mono track on it.

Does the not so special edition have a stereo track or is this all we're ever likely to get?

(If it's all they ever shot, it's okay with me. Realy.)

Yes, the soundtrack was originally recorded in mono. It's still a pretty good disc.

This disc is a good one; very good documentary and a fine picture. The sound is adequate for this kind of movie.

I loved the extra features. The musical score could've used some stereo, that's all
