Hi all,

Anyone know the reason why this title is in 4x3 format?

It has AC3 and DTS sound track (good) but why not widescreen and anamorphic?

If I know before hand, I wouldn't buy it!

Thanks

Thuan

This movie was released in both P&S and widescreen versions, return the movie and ask for the real version

I made sure to check that mine was anamorphic before I bought it. Even though I don't have an anamorphic DVD player, I could have one in the future.

Jeff,

DOH!

I claim ignorance. I should have said that I have an older 27" TV.

There is so much to be learned.

Do they really think anyone who prefers pan and scan has DTS equipment?? They're probably listening through the built-in TV speakers!

Hope Sams club takes it back for ya. I've been leaving notes at the front of my Costco every time I go that I'd buy more DVDs if they stocked the widescreen versions.

Like a dolt, I too bought the P&S full screen in a Wally Mart in NC while I was down on a golf holiday.

Got home ... and ooops ! Saw a post here that said watch out ... there is a Full screen version around. I never even looked. Just figured they would issue WS only.

So off I marched down to the local WallMart up here for a Widescreen exchange. No problem.. told the clerk I don't watch full screen. Dulled look followed.

note to self- do not buy DVD's after a Ruby Tuesday's chicken feast and Sam Adams.
