I'm having trouble hearing my surround rear speakers..

I'm using yamaha receiver 6550 and energy bookshelf speakers.

My front tower speakers and center are clear and loud, but my rear's are too low and too soft!

How do I make it that my rear speakers are louder?

I watch movies and it seems like the front is much louder then the rears!

RTFM? Go into your speaker setup menu and adjust the speaker levels. Ideally, you would want to do this with an SPL meter to adjust the speaker levels relative to your room and eachother correctly, but for now you can do it by ear.

This may have a lot to do with your speaker positions and room.
