Speaker wire and spring clips (1 Viewer)

Just a quick question:
Does 12ga speaker wire fit into your basic spring clip type connector (like those on the back of any old stereo)?

most of the time it won't fit. luckily, you can just use pin connections.

You can fold back some of the individual strands and trim them with some sidecutters.
