Soul Calibur movie on track
New bits of information emerge on the upcoming Soul Calibur feature film.
The official Web site of Sammo Hung recently posted a brief update on the status of the upcoming Soul Calibur feature film. Apparently, Hung recently met with four of the film's producers and was assured that the project is on track. Hung will likely commence his directorial duties on the Soul Calibur film following the conclusion of his work on the upcoming Jacky Chan film The Highbinders. The Soul Calibur movie carries a preliminary budget of $50 million, and it's planned for a summer 2002 release. By Shahed Ahmed

Because the Soul Calibur plot is just so wonderfully intricate...
Possibility for cool fight scenes, so thats something better than Mario to offer Hollywood, but still. WHY???
