As far as I can tell, my geometry is fine, aside from the "fun-house mirror" effect that everyone seems to have and I've never really heard a solution for. I bet your box width problem is related to that.

The very top and bottom scanlines also don't converge correctly, but I figure that's because I used SCRL instead of VPOS to vertically center the screen.

Dave Connoy: It's ok, sorry I missed you post back then. haha :)
Well, after nearly ten years of almost constant use (probably 12+ hours a day, on average), the Wega's picture finally started to deteriorate (bleeding colors, various artifacts and such), but we had a lot of great use out of it with a very nice picture. So I had to get a new tv, and wanted another set with a great picture, so I went with a Panasonic 50 inch GT30 HD plasma, it just arrived the other day. The picture upgrade is amazing. DVD's with a high quality picture look almost unbelievably good on this tv (nearly HD in appearance), the upscaling is superb. And Blu-ray's are just excellent. :)
And the Panasonic has been ISF calibrated, so color accuacy is no longer an issue. :)
But I still miss the Wega, with that big thick slab of flat glass, and nice dark grey bezel. And the Wega has much better speakers than the Panasonic, the Wega can play much louder and more clearly. Probably the best non-HD CRT tv ever (not counting very expensive professional CRT monitors meant for checking film colors and so on at movie studios).
