Sony 36XBR400 Geometry Adjustments (1 Viewer)

I've had my 36XBR400 for quite a while now, and only this past weekend did I notice that the geometry at the very bottom of the screen is a bit off.

While watching Fox news I notice the scroller at the bottom of the screen was unreadable. In the middle the the screen the scoller was fully visable, but towards each of the bottom corners it tapered down to displaying only the top half of the wording in the scroller.

I have the Avia DVD and instructions on how to enter the service mode of the TV, but not sure which settings to "tweak". Of course I'll be writing down the original values incase something goes horribly wrong. ;)

Any pointers?

Flat tube designs are known for having bad geometry that is often unfixable ... especially in the service menu.

Look for a Bottom vertical bowing parameter or pincushion parameter. I don't think you will find one though.
