Why Vince, what ever sparked in your head to bring up KIDCO?

I remember this one being a cable staple back around the mid 80s, so I saw it several times. Basically a movie for kids, with that ever so minor bit of dirtiness (no pun intended) that made me feel like I was getting away with something bad.

Oh, and it was the first movie I ever saw that had Vincent Schiavelli in it.

Ah, another one of my sister's favorites. I don't have any attachment to it, but she does.

For a second I thought you were asking about episodes of the TV show Codco...

Isn't Kidco the one where they're selling poo? Yeah, I'd buy that and inflict it on my friends.

One thing that may keep this title off the market is the notorious recent past of it's star, Scott Schwartz. Though this didn't keep "The Toy" from being released, "KidCo" is much more of a childrens' film.

They could put one of Schartz's more recent films on the DVD as a supplement...

Nah, in all seriousness, the movie still airs on cable regularly so I see no reason why an eventual DVD release is unlikely.
