Maybe someone gagged him, in revenge for him having hogged the Goonies commentary (if you recall, he talked so much on the Goonies commentary that Sean Astin got up and left halfway through that one).

I don't think Astin left because of Feldman alone, I think (assuming you don't buy his excuse that he had some LOTR obligation to go to) that he left because everyone ,save Donner, was teasing him since he was trying to hog the mike for yammering spastic minutes at a time and his obvious need to "control" any situation (if you have seen any behind the scenes footage of him, you'll know what I mean)....some people don't take kindly to assumed authority.

Just my take/theory on it.
