snow on screen, move cables, better, help (1 Viewer)

I have a sony trinitron HD TV and a sony receiver connected to directv. Everything is fine except this snow sometimes on the screen. I'll fiddle with the cables in back there and if I move something just right the screen will be clear again. Why? Does anyone know whats going on here?

Sounds like bad connectors on the cables. Reterminate them or simply replace them.
