He apparently had an altercation with a woman in NYC who didn't want her photo taken. He claims she punched him several times.. and then he went on a rant, which led to probably what got them canned:

He posted two photos of her picture followed by statements 'I really hope she gets shot & killed' 'I hope she catches a stray .45'..

Just a heads up: If you're a celebrity, you can probably get away with a lot of things and people will forgive you. But you can't post pictures of a private citizen and tell your fans you think they should die and give them the method you think they should die. I don't know what choice SIRIUSXM had in this.. I'm betting their lawyers were like "RED ALERT RED ALERT Get out before some crazed fan does something truly horrible"

Never liked them. I listened a few times and never found them funny. And Howard rarely talks about them simply because he doesn't care about them. I'm sure someone will hire them.....again.

I am a big fan of Opie and Anthony.

Very upset to read about this incident.

I think Anthony is highly talented. Very, very funny. Think he's
far funnier than Howard, which is why I made the switch years
ago.

However, I don't agree with a lot of positions on issues that Anthony
Cumia takes. He is politically outspoken and I am not even on the same
page with him. I'll leave it at that. I just love his wit and humor.

Listening to Anthony Cumia over the years, he's often very raw when
it comes to discussing black and white issues. I am certainly not surprised
by the tweets he made.

As far as getting fired? He didn't say anything on the air. However, In this
day and age anything you do like that outside your workplace is going to get
you fired from your job.
