I always liked this movie with it very slow pace which the director used to describe the story of travelers, not tourist wandering around North Africa just after WW II. The German release of Sheltering Sky includes excellent video with English audio and subtitles that can be turned OFF. The French release includes subtitles that CANNOT be shut off. The Region Code is "B".
