Sharp m20s with 16:9, how does it work? (1 Viewer)

Hi all, I was considering buying a sharp pg m20s dlp projector, however it has a native 4:3 chip. As the screen i plan on getting is going to be a 16:9 screen, (the biggest I can fit) I wonder how it displays stuff.

If I play a dvd with 16:9 what does it do? I assume if I choose 16:9 letter box the image will come out in 16:9 but the only a portion of the DLP chip will be used?

I've read it also has a zoom mode or other features but how do these work with 16:9 material to a 16:9 screen?

Any help would be great guys.

Yeah, it'll create a 16:9 image by using 800x450 pixels, since it's 800x600 native.
