Seeing that DVD's come a many different aspect ratios, has anyone setup their screen in such as way that adjusts it to fit the desired aspect ratio for the particular movie? I was thinking it might be worth getting a larger screen and perhaps designing up some sort or motorized curtain/blocking material that covers up remaining screen area. Has anyone done this or anything like it? Or do people just deal? Thanks.

I went with a very cheap solution: a couple yards of black fabric matting with velcro on the ends. Total cost was less than $5. Since my homemade screen is roughly 16:9, I put up the side mats for 4:3, and sometimes use top and bottom mats for 2.35:1 films.
