"Afterglow Live"! Filmed in
Toronto, ON in the summer of 2004, this CD and DVD
combo set will feature over 2 1/2 hours of never
before seen footage and new versions of Sarah
classics.

Great news. I hope it's anamorphic widescreen and will have dts. Afterglow was one of my favorite cds of 2003.

No other info as of yet. One would assume it will be 16:9 and 5.1 as with the last dvd. They seem to be pretty consistant.

I hope the sound is better than on her first live DVD. I thought there was way too much reverb on DD setting. I will wait for a review before I commit to this one.

I thought the Mirrorball DVD sounded fantastic. That's exactly how her shows typically sound live so I loved every minute of it. Very enveloping. Almost too enveloping so I can understand why some people have a problem with it. But still...love it.

Just wish they would go back and release the goddamn Fumbling live show :frowning:

Looks like Amazon has changed some of the link I referenced in my last post. Now I'm confused because it lists 15 tracks on Disc 1, and then 24 tracks on Disc 2, and the listing appear to only be for the CD. Nothing turns up for Afterglow Live in the DVD section on Amazon now.

Got to see the show in Sac in July. She is wonderful live.

Im a Sarah Mclachlan whore so I will pick this set up with no questions asked.

But if I remember correctly she played Full of Grace when I saw her but its not on that setlist. :frowning: I love that song.

I'm still a bit disappointed Sarah didn't play "Time" on this tour (though I adored her stop in Atlanta back in the summer).

Sarah played the same set every night. The only difference was that she omitted "Elsewhere" halfway through the tour. It won't be on this DVD.

I never have paid much attention to Sarah McLachlan, but I do own the City of Angels soundtrack and in my opinion "Angel" has to be one of the best sounding tracks ever. It is always the first track I play when I demo my system for someone. I would love to have a better recording of this song. Anyone know of one?

The studio version of Angel is only available on Surfacing. So, no. No better version available.
