Just purchased 2 sets of the Polk rti28s... The online specs (and the online manual) both say under impedence "Compatible with 8 ohms". When I opened them and look at the printed manual, it is identical in every way, except under impedence they say "nominal 4ohms"

My other Polks (csi30, fxi30) say "compatible with 8ohms". Is it possible they changed the model? Or could they be 4 ohm nominal, but 8 ohm compatible too!? Never seen something like this before...

I talked to Polk tech support and they said the "nominal 4 ohms" manual was a misprint, and in fact all rti28 speakers are 8ohms.

P.S. Got through to Polk tech support in seconds. Back when I was considering Onkyo I was on hold (with Onkyo) on three different occasions for more than a hour and NEVER TALKED TO ANYONE. They will not receive any of my money. Kudos to Polk for caring about their customers.
