Rotel vs. Parasound for HT and Music (1 Viewer)

I am considering adding an amp to my RX-V3000 down the line, when I have a little extra cash. I am interested in either Rotel or Parasound and wondered what people's thoughts are on the sound of either. I don't have a real speaker setup yet, so at the moment I wouldn't make that a part of the decision.

Both are good brands. The Parasound is a little warmer than the Rotel but both can sound excellent with the right speakers. Have you considered B&K in the mix? Althought a little more expensive, I like the sound of B&K for music more than the above two. But thats just me. You will be happy with either.
