OPERATION SCORPIO is must-see material. I just posted about it over on the third page of the "Asian Cinema on DVD thread" but time does not allow me to be as effisive as I'd like to be.

For those in the New York area, you will be happy to know some of the titles mentioned in this thread are being shown in a theater. Check out his link for detials, http://www.subwaycinema.com.

They will be showing Eastern Condors and Royals Warriors soon. These aren't restored prints or anything but it's great seeing them in the theater.

I just caught the movie Righting Wrongs today and it was great to see it on a big screen.

It looks like Wheels on Meals will not be a victim of Miramax. I just looked at the list of their properties at
http://alliance.hellninjacommando.net/movies.htm

I can't vouch for the accuracy of the list, I'm sure someone will post more details. There may be a good chance that 'Wheels' will be a future Fox/Fortune Star release.

I was very sad to see that Dragons Forever was on the Miramax list. They own the rights to every one of my favorite Jackie films, so I guess I'll be stuck with the awful region 0 HK discs (unless the HK companies re-release them at some point)...

I would love to see Wheels on Meals as part of the Fox/Fortune Star releases. That would be great!

Please keep us informed of any news regardng this, or any other JC film.

So I'm not sure, are these releases that are happening in the United States, with cooperation between Fox Home Video and China's Fortune Star - or is Fortune Star a Fox company? I recently got the digitally-remastered Police Story box from Fortune Star during a visit to China, but I haven't had a chance to watch them yet.

The Fox and Fortune Star are basically the same plus or minus certain soundtracks and extras. Same transfer. Same audio if they have the same options. Sometimes one has mono while the other doesn't.

I am looking forward to the Fortune Star Sammo Hung set with Eastern Condors to see of the sound is better than the Fox release.

There will be more waves but no screener DVD's. I think they stopped promoting these. I don't have a contact anymore for these, unfortuneately. I doubt if anybody will have reviews before hand this time.

Unless something changed very recently, Buena Vista has the rights to THE KILLER. Dimension also has CITY ON FIRE.
Some arm of Disny also owned BITH but that may have changed recently since domestic sites are selling it without being threatened.

If Anchor Bay loses distribution rights soon, the ABT movies are a possibility.
