You are so right! Very powerful and very moving film. A must-see. Wonderful performances.Awesome. Tremendous powerful film!
At least it's getting a Blu-ray release.Great fil....Horrible cover art for the Blu Ray
Perhaps Le Galliene was better suited for the stage, as you state. I saw her on stage with Rosemary Harris and it is one of my most precious memories. I haven't seen Resurrection since its opening. I am looking forward to watching it again.Great news! The film only got a MOD release on DVD so a blu ray is most welcome. Burstyn gives what is probably her best performance. I'll have to differ from those who praise Eva Le Galliene. There's a reason she was better suited to the stage than the screen and this film shows why.
Great film, yes. Horrible cover in terms of capturing the essence of the film? Well, yah, sure, maybe. But definitely not a horrible photo of the lovely Ms. Burstyn. An impactful performance and film.Great fil....Horrible cover art for the Blu Ray
