Recommendations for a Digital Cable Amplifier? (1 Viewer)

I'm getting occasional blocking and drop outs on my recently installed SA4200HD digital cable box. I've also had some problems with my cable modem connection.

My cable tech (Cablevision, NJ) said I'm within the appropriate range (but on the tail end of the + - db range) for receiving an adequate siginal so he can't install an amplifier to boost my signal. So I guess I'll have to buy/install one myself.

Any recommendations on brand / model?

No recommendation David, but with those problems, I'd certainly try complaining to the company. If the first person you talk to says there's nothing they can do, ask for their name and then ask for their supervisor and restate your problems. Supervisors hate to be bothered.
