I am building a Home theater system for my home. I would like to use a rear center channel. My surrounds will be inwall on the back wall. My problem is I will have a window in the center of that wall so that I don't have room for a rear center speaker. Has anyone tried one in the ceiling? My seating will be about 2 feet from the back wall which would put the center ceiling speaker almost directly over the seating area. Some one said to direct the tweeters back against the rear. Any help will be appreciated.

Don, welcome to the forum. You're question would be and should be answered in either the Home Theater Hardware Section or the Building A Home Theater Area.
Best of luck.

In ceiling won't work well.
Is there anyway to rearrange your living room? How much room do you have above the window? Could you place a matching bookshelf speaker on a wall bracket and angle it down a bit so it's firing towards your seating? It may overlap the top of the window a bit, but anything for home theater, right? :D
