Brian, I guess you haven't seen Laurel Canyon re:Frances McDormand?

I saw about 30 minutes of it and could not endure anymore. Anyhow I gave her 21/2 out of 4, which is above average. Sometimes she does look pretty good, most of the time she's just an average normal looking person, Not that it really matters.

I meant because you ?? the nudity for Frances, Brian. I don't remember when it happens, but she pulls up her shirt while in the recording studio.

Gong Li would be in my top 10, but its a case of out of sight out of mind. I haven't seen her in a movie since The Emperor and The Assassin a couple of years ago and her name didn't pop into my head when I made the list.

What would you recommend as an example? Out of Sight comes to mind as solid, but unspectacular. The only other thing with her I've seen is The Cell, which was terrible.

I just happened to read Susanna Moore's "In the Cut" a few weeks ago, not realizing at all that it was the basis of Meg Ryan's movie. Ugh -- bad book, sick ending. The movie will definitely not end that way.
