I know this title was originally released in a Warner snapper case.

Has it since been released in an Amaray case?

If not, will it ever be?

Thanks in advance.

No, it hasn't been issued in anything but a snapper yet. It may be at some point, in either a Pee-Wee set or a Tim Burton set. WB seems to redo their snappers mostly when the titles are put into a boxset. That's not always the case (i.e. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory), but it's usually how the majority of them are redone into amaray cases.

pee wee set won't happen since the other movie is a paramount title and image owns the rights to the tv show...

might show in a double/triple feature disc in the future paired with another comedy...

They have changed the cover art, though, the earlier version (the one I have) has a different logo on the cover than the currently available disc.
