Question regarding RCA DirecTV receivers (1 Viewer)

I am on my second RCA directv receiver and now this one is malfunctioning. I have the following choices:

1. Buy another brand of receiver becuase of my terrible experience with RCA products.

2. Get another RCA receiver. I have heard that all receivers have the same 'guts' in them and thus getting another brand does not necessarily mean better product.

3. Try my luck at DISH.

4. Give up on DBS and go back to cable.

5. The hell with it all and just watch DVD's.

I got mine WAY back in 93 I think,anyway the first day they were released and it STILL works great. Maybee you just have had bad luck with them. I once had 2 Zenith tv with in 3 years of each other because of crapy craftmanship.
