hello
im all new to this exiting home theater scene
recently i have bought 2 floorstanding speakers "jbl northridge n38" and a center speaker of the same serie
mt question is what bookshelf speakers and subwoofer should i buy that will fit my current speaks squad?

Either the timbre-matched ...

1) JBL N24AWII includes wall brackets for $97.33 +SH @ Amazon (or FREE Amazon PRIME SH)

... or ...

2) JBL N26AWII does not include wall brackets for Price: $111.52 +SH @ Amazon

... should work great.

NOTE & FYI: The JBL N24's is the only speaker w/4" woofer every bench-marked by Tom Nousaine @ S&V to have usable frequency below 90 Hz.

JBL NSP1 January 2001 Sound & Vision IN THE LABS:
N-24 front left/right... 89 Hz to 18.9 kHz ±2.7 dB
N-Center.................. 89 Hz to 20 kHz ±5.5 dB
N-24 surround.......... 89 Hz to 18.4 kHz ±3.2 dB

The sub does not have to be from JBL (there is no need to match it).

What is your budget for the sub and how big is your room?

approx. about 300 $ for subwoofer
im seriously considering second hand because as i mentioned earlier its my first home cinema system

and my room is about 11 square meters
