Yes,we are coming out with the SRA series amp, just for the home theater and studio market. It will be fan cooled, but comes with an ultra quiet fan, and looks fantastic to boot.

I put my RMX-1450 in the basement, and if I listen for it, I can still hear with out music or the TV on...

So the fan kit is: put it in a different room or you basement...

Resurrection -

I just did the R17 mod to 300 ohms. It did indeed lower the noise from a whine to a whirr. The fan itself ticks slightly, and can be heard over the quiet rush of air.
