Problem accessing Internet; just upgraded to XP (1 Viewer)

I just installed XP on my main computer, and I'm having trouble accessing the Internet. I have SBC Yahoo DSL, with two other computers sharing the connection through a router. These two other computers can access the Internet. I can't even access the router with my main computer. Any ideas as to what is wrong?

Problem solved. I had to change the settings so that it automatically detects my IP address.
