Pre/Pro crossover (1 Viewer)

Hi All,
I'm about to build a subwoofer using the Stryke Audio AV12 and am wondering if the internal crossover used in the B&K Ref 30 is enough to warrant not putting one in the sub itself. This subwoofer will always be used strictly as an LFE and not part of any sub/satellite setups. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

More often than not we want defeatable crossovers on a sub anyway. So not having one at all would be excellent! I assume you'll be using some kind of pro amp for this then?

Yeah, I think I'll go for the QSC PLX1602, having it drive 2 separate Av12 enclosures. Any tips on the dimensions?
