This is rather unrelated to HTPC stuff, but its about powerstrip. I have a 17" monitor and the moire is rather lame at 1024 x 768. Oddly at 1280 x 1024 its fine, but I don't want it that high. 1152 x 864 isn't good either. 800 x 600 is fine but 1024 x 768 results in a rather wicked moire pattern. I could use some help apart from getting another monitor. I downloaded and installed powerstrip but can't find anything about custom resolutions. Is there other (preferably freeware) software to give custom 4:3 resolutions?

    Thanx.

...or.."What custom resolutions will work with ATI Rage 128 video cards?"..

Every custom resolution I come up with using powerstrip won't show-up when I reboot.

    thanx

    Try the Rage3D tweak: Rage3D

    It's like a "Powerstrip-lite" for ATI cards.

Cool. Thanx. I'll check it out. Anything to allow me to try custom resolutions with my ATI Rage 128.
