Power Failure - No Sound From Sub (1 Viewer)

Hi There,
I have just had a power failure while watching a DVD (Lion King) and when the power came back on I continued to watch the movie only there was no sound coming from the sub.
I went over and felt the driver and could feel a little movement and hear something but at a very low volume.
Can you suggest what could have happened and how to test it

Update

I left it for a while and it now is working once again
Don't know what happened maybe the amp cut out
But all that matters is it is working and rocking the house
