When viewing the petitions in the entertainment section I was struck by the diversity. Seems like everyone has a cause to petition about... so a SoF:CE petition would by no means be the silliest over there.

Hey Todd, I also remember being around the New York street set of Streets of Fire at Universal. They shot that movie day for night, so all the black tarps they used to cover on top of the streets were rolled up on tubes. Ahhh, memories...While we're at it, how about a SE release of The Warriors!!??? Now that would be too good to be true.

There will probably never be a better time for Universal to re-release this, especially with Diane Lane's high profile for "Unfaithful", and Willem Dafoe for his Green Goblin role in "SpiderMan". Come on!!! Come on!!! Keep those signatures coming. A big thanks to those who have signed so far!!

Universal..please release a SE of this film & is there a chance the soundtrack could be re-released as well?
Oh and both OAR, a 5.1 + original soundtrack is a must as well

I don't know if it has been mentioned somewhere but

my Streets of Fire has a 5.1 mix even though the

DVD player just indicates "English 2 Channels".

But the receiver says it is Dolby Digital 5.1 with

action in LFE as well.
