Is there anyway to use PIP without getting another DTV receiver? I'm trying to get ready for the upcoming football season. I was thinking about getting basic cable just for the season. Any ideas would be great.

You will need a second box - which you can get for $79 or so, plus $4.95 a month.

I am in the same boat as you. I have the football package and PIP. The way I use it is to have the network game (via basic cable)in PIP and the package game on the screen (or vice versa). To have two package games in PIP would require two receivers.

Larry don't want to get another receiver so I guess I'll go with Rob's idea and get the basic cable for the season.

UltimateTV has PIP internally (ie it does its own PIP, the TV hooked to it does not need PIP features).
