Philips DVP642 resetting player question? (1 Viewer)

I recently got a cheapie Philips player as a secondary player. Well, the other day I hooked it up to a friend's Hi/Def ready tv, and when I took it home, I forgot to change the settings back. I tried to hook it up to the folks tv tonight and obviously there is no picture. Does anyone have any knowledge as how to reset the player or something or do I just have to wait until I go back to his house?

I assume that it is set to progressive scan. Either you will have a button on the remote which switches it back to interlaced, or you have to hold a button down while powering up the player. Check the manual.

Yeah, I know I need my manual. That's just it, my manual is a few hundred miles away since I'm visiting the family. Thanks for the help, though.
