I AM READY TO PURCHASE ONE OF THE TWO
I OWN A YAMAHA RXV870 NOW AND I HAPPY WITH IT BUT I WANT TO
UPDATE SINCE IT IS 8 YEAR NEW WILL THERE BE A BIG DIFFERENCE
WITH ONE OF THESE BABIES AND WHICH ONE IS BETTER

I'd go with the Denon 3802-3. If you can wait until the 3803 is available that is what I'd do. If you can't wait, go with the 3802. The Outlaw has a nice amp section but the surround processor in it is behind the times.

I'd say wait for the 3803. For the $$$ it really sounds like a killer preamp for music and HT.
