Yeah, Jean Simmons, my family still make fun of me about that, & Janette Scott when I saw her in Siege Of The Saxons (the support feature to Jason & The Argonauts in the UK). Not forgetting Shirley Maclaine in Irma La Douce & Isobel Black in Kiss Of The Vampire, I was quite taken with her.

Tina Louise, many years before Gilligan's Island.

TV used to show the Wednesday Night Fights and the Friday Night Fights.

On one of those days, whenever the fight went really short, Jan Murray would fill in the rest of the scheduled time with a variety show.

Murray told a few jokes, the band would play, and Tina Louise would sing.

Oh my heart! I would pray for 1st round KOs every week.

And she turned out to be far more extraordinary than I had ever imagined!
What does one first say to a woman who was directed by David Lean, Powell & Pressberger and Olivier?
A rhetorical question, indeed. God, she was beautiful; but, regretfully, not a part of my own early years of movie-going.

As a 6 or 7-year-old I had a massive crush on Freaky Friday/Candleshoe-era Jodie Foster. Seems I was barking up the wrong tree there.

As I hit my teens I remember falling in love with Kate Capshaw in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (for the duration of the film and for a couple of weeks after).

My TV crushes were legion...
Sarah Jane, Romana 1 and Tegan from Doctor Who
Sally James from Tiswas (British Saturday morning kids show)
Sabrina from Charlie’s Angels.
Daisy Duke
Elizabeth Montgomery from Bewitched.
Nancy Drew’s friend Georgia from the first series of Hardy Boys Nancy Drew Mysteries.l

And I still have a crush on Lynda Carter as Wonder Woman!

There were many along the way but the first I remember was Gloria Winters. It was the only reason I watched that boring piece of crap Sky King as a kid.

Doh! How could I have forgotten Yvonne Craig! For that matter, Lee Meriwether in the 1966 Batman movie also made quite the impression on me (with all respect to Julie Newmar who also made an impression when I later saw the series).

Brad here. From my adolescence (ages 10-14):

1. Susan Dey (Laurie Partridge, Partridge Family, wowed me some years later)
SusanDey1.jpg
2. Maureen McCormick (Marcia Brady of The Brady Bunch).
3. Marta Kristen (Judy, Lost In Space)
4. Angela Cartwright (Penny, Lost In Space)
5. June Lockhart (Maureen Robinson, Lost In Space)
6. Shirley Jones (Shirley Partridge, The Partridge Family)
7. Kathie Browne (Deela, Star Trek)
8. Lee Meriweather (Lorisa, Star Trek)
9. Barbara Bouchet (Kalinda, Star Trek)
10. Susan Oliver (Vina, Star Trek)

Very Honorable Mention: Eve Plumb (Jan, Brady Bunch), she wasn't on my hot list back when I was 14 but in retrospect should have been.

Perhaps not conventional, but I'll confess to having a few crushes from The Lawrence Welk Show - the Lennon Sisters (Dianne and Kathy in particular), Sandi, Gail, Mary Lou, Anacani, etc.

This image of Raquel was forever seared into my consciousness at the age of 11:

She helped bring on the onset of puberty. I watched the movie again the other day, and I was reminded of how glorious she was. When she appeared on screen, I said out loud "Holy moly!".

The first name that popped into my head was Kristy McNichol. As it turns out, that wasn't meant to be for more than one reason....
Yes to Kristy. Was she gay?

My number one crush was Annette. As a kid I thought she was the first one name star.

How could I have forgotten Lee Meriweather!?!?!?!!! I'd watch The Time Tunnel as much for her as the stories. She was also my absolutely favorite Cat Woman on the Batman TV series (OK... she was just in the movie but it's still the same show).
