Opinions needed for Sony KD-34XS955 (1 Viewer)

I'm looking into purchasing an HDTV soon, and based on my size and price requirements ($2000) have narrowed it down to this set. It does 1080i, 720p, and 480p. It has a built in ATSC tuner and HDMI.

Anyone know anything about them? Pros and cons, reliability issues, etc. Is there something better out there in the same price range? Thanks.

There are certainly no better 34" Direct View CRT displays out there if that is what your asking. They are at near the top cost wise as well.

Well that's good to hear, thanks John. So far so good. Found a good deal at CC, TV and the Sony stand for $2099! I'm ready to pull the trigger but I'm still waiting to hear some other thoughts...
