I am going to upgrade my existing system's receiver and am considering the Onkyo TX-DS797 and the Denon AVR-3802. Each seems to have advantages. The Onkyo seems to have the edge in the video section with composite conversion to S-video and wider bandwidth on component output. The Denon seems to have the edge in the audio section with more options on speaker setup and remote room speakers. I will be using the unit for both music and HT so both areas are of importance to me. What does everyone out there think?

My choice for my receiver has practically boiled down to those two also. I'm leaning towards the 3802 since it has true 7.1 capability (onkyo 797 needs an amp for the 7th speaker thourgh the preouts) and the Jurassic park, Pearl harbor DTS problem in 797 is not in the 3802 unit.
