Yeah, I saw the sharper image deal on the XP 30. I ordered one, but I do not expect to get it. My subscription to HT ran out months and months ago. I probably have no way of reading that review unless it is current. Any reviews on the web about the player?

How about the Toshiba SD-4900 for 89.99 at Amazon today.

Nothing wrong with it; haven't even opened it. Originally purchased for bedroom. I'm thinking of moving my Rotel from family room to bedroom and moving my Denon 3800 from theater to family room. The 5900 would go in the theater since I want a DVI enabled player for the projector and the 5900 is reported to have good audio sections.

Not really comparable players since the Denon lists out at $2000.

As an FYI, when I called to return it, they offered me a $15 credit to keep it. This would imply that the player can bought for about $75.

I would have kept it, but it would have meant having more players than TVs.
