"Odd Man Out" was always in my opinion the best movie ever done. Better than "Citizen Kane", "The Third Man" and other classics.

Today I have read an interview with Roman Polanski after his film "The Pianist" won the first prize at the Cannes Film Festival. Polanski told that "Odd Man Out" was the film which has impressed him the most from all movies he saw in his entire life.

I wonder why Criterion passed this title and licensed it to Image.

Yeah, I find it hard to believe that Criterion would pass on Odd Man Out. Still, it'd be nice to see them do it. OMO is one of my favorites...

"Odd Man Out" has available on Image DVD for about 2 years. The transfer is excellent because Image has licensed the previous LD Criterion transfer. No extras at all.
