Numbers on the Spines of R1 Fox SEs (1 Viewer)

I was looking at the artwork for the R1 Fox SEs of I, Robot and The Day after Tomorrow and I noticed that they have numbers on the spines. I,Robot has 17 and tDaT has 19. Is it something obvious like the 17th SE that Fox has?

They started numbering thier 2-disc SEs when they rereleased some out of print titles. The Abyss and Independence Day were out of print for a time then they showed up at Best Buy with new carboard packages boasting the numbers. I guess they are hoping that people will want to collect FOX spine numbers or something.
