Nintendo Cuts European Launch Price For Gamecube (1 Viewer)

In response to Microsoft's drastic cuts, Nintendo announced that they will launch the Gamecube at 199 Euros (down from 249 Euros). This works out to 177 USD.

Consumers win.

UPDATE: Reduced the Aussie launch price to $329 AUD. That's around $178 USD.

Daily Radar reckon it will launch at £129 here in the UK...consumers win, will MS lose?

I never thought i'd say this but at these prices i could well end up owning all 3!!!

It's a great time to be a gamer though Now if only they would reduce the price of the software! I'll be grabbing an XBox next week but at £40 a shot other than Halo there are no other games i'm willing to buy.

What are you kidding? The US market is all that's keeping the X-Box afloat, and that's changing. Supposedly sales have sunk it to #3

I'm sure all 3 will be announcing price cuts at E3
