I have acquired a NHT SW1V which I think is a sub-woofer of some sort. I already have a powered sub. I was curious how I could utilize this additional speaker, and if it was of any sort of quality?

Thanks in advance for any information

the SW1P was a subwoofer with an external crossover/amp.The SW1 was the subwoofer itself and the SA1 was the amp/crossover. I believe that the SA1 could drive two SW1s. So if you bought an SW1P, you got an SW1 and an SA1 and then you could buy and add a second SW1/ I suspect that the SW1v was this SW1 slave sold by itself, without the SA1 amp.

what can you do with it? well, get an SA1 or an SA2. or a small mono power amp and use your receiver's 80Hz crossover.
