Hi all... lurked a bit.. finally decided to jump into the game.

My system consists of:

Sony XBR Z(something) 46" LCD (amazing picture)
Onkyo 3030
Polk Tsx550T Main Driver (x2)
Polk Tsx250c Center
Polk Tsi100 satellite/bookshelf (4 as Atmos, 4 as surrounds)
NHT SW2 with MA-1 Amp (x2)

Doing the Atmos was easy, the rubber feet and bracket unscrew, and just move them around so they tilt towards the center of the room while laying on their backs I used the 100's because the 200's and 300's are NOT overhead wall mount friendly

Running a 7.2.4 and loving Atmos... John Wick during the last fight scene, sounded like I was in the rain. Played a drinking game during 'Age of Extinction'... every time anyone says "we have to go" or "lets go" you drink......

I'm just wondering if the Polk PSW125s have improved or not? Last posts were 5ish years ago, and I've been really happy with everything else they've put out. Im thinking of moving the 2 NHTs to the rear and adding the 2 Polks to the front, but can't seem to find ANY definitive actual comparison reviews. Was hoping you folks might be able to help me out? Thanks!

Polk subs have historically been considered bottom feeders on most HT forums. I’m sure you can find something better for the money. Used subs are a great value, for the price of the Polk you could probably Craigslist something that retailed for twice as much.

Names in particular I should be paying attention to? Still looking @ 250-300 per Sub.. but a couple I was suggested have gone out of business, and 1 was actually broiled in litigation.. :(

I happen to like my PSW 108s, and I have two of them. The choice was mostly cost based, but depending on your budget, you do have many choices. I think SVS has a sub in around 400.00. It does depend on your budget. I have a 7.2 set up with Pioneer floor standing speakers, bookshelf speakers for left/right surround and Polk T15s for back surrounds to go with the Polk subs and I love the sound.
