Occasionally, you get a close-up of the three series leads, not involving process shots with cartoon animation, and they look quite sharp and colorful:

And here are the two H-B end logos... this one closes the first few episodes:

Yes, thank you for awesome screen shots. I have been watching the first disk. I can't believe the quality. Watching bootlegs for years, this was a real treat. I always found it so interesting that these shows released now and viewed on much better televisions. We have the good fortune to watch these beloved shows in a quality that no one saw in their original broadcast.

This looks like a definite buy for me at a future Warner Archives sale.

Do fish know how to swim?

They do, but like everyone else here, they don't know when your birthday is, or that a random number you throw out happens to be the number of days until your birthday and that you'll be purchasing, receiving and/or watching The New Adventures of Huckleberry Finn on that day.

I've never seen this show but I love Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, have read all the books and been to Hannibal many times. And I love Hanna-Barbera, so I can't wait. That said, I'll be waiting for the next good Deep Discount sale to pick this up, as I do with all Archive H-B releases, so in the spirit of anticipation:
[unknown] Days and Counting.....

I'm glad they didn't just copy and paste the same ending credit on each episode. A couple of the voice actors from Jonny Quest are in a few shows. And in early ones, the vocals are a little bit louder and fantastic! Do we know who sang the theme?

I wonder if this show and Scooby-Doo were in production at the same time? There's a ton of music used on both shows, but it's hard to tell which show it was written for.

This show premiered for Prime time in the fall of 1968. Scooby Doo premiered for Saturday morning in the fall of 1969. Some of the music does sound like it was reused on Scooby doo and other pieces reworked a little bit for Scooby doo.

Yes, the music works so well on Scooby-Doo that perhaps the writers wrote scenes to match music they already had. In particular, the episode 'A Clue for Scooby Doo' with the ghost of Captain Cutler.

Let's hope for a Ted Nichols soundtrack CD! Daphne herself has an appearance on the show in the episode 'The Little People!'
