After significant delays resulting from the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, production has officially begun on the fifth and final season of "Stranger Things".

So does that mean 2 years until it actually gets put on Netflix…? I wonder if I’ll even care when it does drop…

This show should have been completed years ago, way before the strikes. Season 1 and 2 were only a year apart, then they waited almost 2 years for season 3 and three for season 4. Season five will be another 3-4 year wait by the time it is released. It is just going to be almost impossible to view these actors as teens in season 5 but, a time jump wouldn't make a lot of since with the cliffhanger. Why oh why did they slow play this series.
